Microboards Technology Announces Acquisition of Champion Duplicators Inc.

Minneapolis, MN, Oct 11, 2000 — Microboards Technology, LLC announced today the formation of Microboards Manufacturing, LLC with the acquisition of Champion Duplicators, Inc. Operations of the facility commenced as a division of Microboards Technology, LLC on Monday, October 9th.

The acquisition of Champion Duplicators Inc., traditionally known for the engineering and manufacturing of automated standalone duplication systems, strengthens Microboards's position in the industry. "This addition to the Microboards Group of companies solidifies our leadership in the CD and DVD Recordable technology industry." said Yoshihito Kumakura, Chairman and C.E.O. of Microboards Technology. "It is another step in our ongoing strategy of developing and marketing products to service the growing 120mm Optical Storage and Interchange industry."

The cooperation of the two companies has already had a positive impact on the industry as a whole.
