Copy Both Sides Of The Disc With A Microboards LightScribe Duplicator
October 17, 2008, Minneapolis, MN - Microboards today announced the release of their LightScribe duplication towers. Utilizing Microboard’s proven CopyWriter platform and the revolutionary disc labeling technology of LightScribe, a customer can now record and label up to ten discs simultaneously. The CopyWriter Pro featuring LightScribe is available immediately through all Microboards resellers.
“Since the release of Microboards LightScribe media, users have been asking for a way to print multiple discs simultaneously” explains Mitch Ackmann, president and COO of Microboards. “Adding a LightScribe option to our CopyWriter Pro was a natural extension for our existing product line.”
No ink, no ribbons, just the drives and LightScribe media. LightScribe recordable media features a special laser-sensitive coating that allows a LightScribe recorder to laser etch LightScribe media with monochrome graphics and text on top of a CD or DVD. Using only a CopyWriter Pro LightScribe duplicator, users can record the data of up to 10 discs at once, flip the discs over and etch the graphics on the top of the disc using the drives in the CopyWriter Pro duplicator.
The CopyWriter Pro with LightScribe is available in 3, 5, 7 and 10-drive configurations and all include CopyWriters exclusive Japanese-manufactured five-button two-line controller, built-in hard drive to store disc images and label files and LightScribe template software for creating unique CD and DVD labels on your PC.
