Microboards and Kodak Team Up

Salida, California, February 12, 2004 — Kodak & Microboards Partner in the Development of a New CD Writing/Dispensing Accessory for Kodak Picture Maker Kiosk

Kodak has selected Microboards Manufacturing because of their expertise in the development of high performance disc handling equipment.

With this agreement, Microboards will be furnishing an automatic CD-R writer & dispenser for Kodak Picture Maker kiosks, becoming an essential part of Kodakís retail self-service initiative worldwide. The new kiosk accessory gives Kodakís retail partners a fundamental ingredient necessary to both optimize and modernize with disc recording and dispensing capability. Automatic authoring & dispensing provides an easy way for consumers to get digital negatives along with their prints from the kiosk.

Unique Application

Seamless Integration 
Microboards Manufacturingís patented autoloading system has been integrated into the kiosk, for fast recording and delivery of a customized recorded CD with the customerís images.
