| Welcome! |
Welcome to our CD Printers Help Page! Microboards Manufactures
and Distributes all three major brands of CD Printer.
CD Printers allow you to print directly on a CD, giving you a
professional finish even if you are making only a few discs. A
CD Printer will also print on DVDs.
|
| Questions You Should Ask |
Most CDs, such as those purchased at video stores, are labeled
using a silk-screen process. If you are making only a few up to
a few hundred CDs at a time, a CD Printer makes professional
labeling more economically feasible, as silkscreen setup fees
for a few discs would be inefficient.
There are two kinds of CD printers available on the market
- Thermal CD Printers - A more expensive Printer, gives you the
durable finish of a silk-screened CD.
- Inkjet CD Printers - A less expensive Printer, gives you a
very high-resolution print, but is less scratch and water resistant.
|
| Other Considerations |
As with any technical purchase, you should also consider the
unmeasured costs:
- How long as the company been around? Will I be able to get Technical
Support in a year?
- What is the Warranty on the Product? Can I extend the warranty?
- What are the costs of consumables, such as ink cartridges, and
how many discs will they yield?
