PrintWrite software is the latest innovation from Microboards Technology. Created specifically for Microboards disc publishers by Microboards engineers, PrintWrite encompasses a wide array of unique features. The goal of PrintWrite software is to keep the task of disc publishing amazingly simple for novice users, while at the same time introducing advanced options and special features for the expert-level user.
Six main options are available from the opening screen—Copy Disc, Create Audio CD, Create Data Disc (CD, DVD, Blu-ray), Create Video DVD, Print Only, and More Options. Each option follows the same general flow. First, select your job type, then add the files you would like to record. Next, select or create the label to print. The final step is the submission of the job, which allows for final edits and settings.
Since PrintWrite was designed specifically for Microboards products by Microboards engineers, preparing a job to publish has never been easier! PrintWrite’s step-by-step approach gives a sequential order to the job process. Tabbed screens make it easy to move backward or forward, and an intuitive drag-and-drop operation makes changes a cinch. The dashboard-style view gives a detailed overview of everything currently happening—job status, job list, system status, ink levels, and more, making it easy to monitor and navigate. All jobs can be saved and retrieved for future use.
For the advanced user, specialized options are available. Batch Copy features the ability to insert a stack of discs, masters and blanks, and record accordingly, assigning specific print labels. Create Image and Burn Image allow the creation and duplication of the entire content of a disc using industry-standard ISO files. And the Erase Disc function deletes the contents of rewritable discs.
Included with PrintWrite is SureThing label design software, a program capable of creating basic disc designs. SureThing allows selectable and modifiable backgrounds, photos, and text fields with assignable merge fields from a .csv file for individualized disc label information. Disc label files can also be created and imported from other popular graphic programs, such as Adobe Photoshop.
PrintWrite was designed for use with the G3 Disc Publisher, CX-1 Disc Publisher, and MX-1 and MX-2 Industrial Disc Publishers (also compatible with discontinued GX-2 model). All units will now be shipped with PrintWrite software, and users of compatible, previously purchased units will soon have the ability to acquire a copy of PrintWrite for their systems.
Mac version also available.
